WB Description
crb-1 encodes a transmembrane protein with EGF-like and laminin repeats homologous to Drosophila CRUMBS; crb-1 appears to function redundantly with let-413 to effect epithelial polarization; CRB-1 localizes to cell junctions of non-cuticular epithelia, such as the intestine and the pharynx, near the apical plasma membrane.
