Description

A 1.9 kb genomic fragment containing exons 19, 20 and part of 21 was deleted and replaced with a neomycin selection cassette. Northern blot and RT-PCR analysis indicated that a truncated transcript is produced from this allele, but any protein produced from this transcript is predicted to be nonfunctional.
