Description

A neomycin cassette was inserted into the sequence at position 389 from the translation start codon. Northern blot analysis on RNA derived from brain of homozygous mice failed to detect a transcript produced from this allele, and western blot analysis demonstrated that no ITPKA protein is produced in homozygous mice.
