Description
The transcription start site and exon 1 (which contains the translation start site) were replaced by a neo cassette. RT-PCR and Northern blot analyses demonstrated absence of transcript from several tissues in homozygous mutant mice. Western blotting verified absence of protein from serum in mutant mice.
