Description

A 0.9-kb fragment containing exon 18 and 108 nucleotides of exon 19 was replaced by the insertion of a PKC-hygro cassette. Northern analysis of RNA isolated from the livers of homozygous mutant mice showed an absence of normal transcript. Homozygous mice were also shown to lack protein expression.
