Description

The neomycin cassette was removed from the Wt1^tm1Jak allele via cre mediated recombination to create the Wt^tm1.1Jak allele. This resulted in the deletion of the mammalian specific alternatively spliced exon 5, which encodes a 17 amino acid sequence known to interact with the transcription factor Pawr.
