Description

An in frame insertion of lacZ after sequence encoding the first four amino acids replaced the remainder of exon 1 and all of exon 2. No endogenous transcript was detected in homozygous mutant mice via Northern blot analysis of lymph node RNA. Expression realized by Xgal staining only partially coincided with RT-PCR analysis and previous results.
