Description

The gene was disrupted by replacement of 741 bp of genomic sequence with a ble-lacZ cassette starting from the ATG initiation codon in exon 2 and ending in exon 4. Absence of gene expression in homozygous mutant animals was confirmed by immunoblot of total testis extract using chicken anti-Hmgb2 antibodies.
