Description

A portion of exon 2 and all of exon 3 were replaced by a neomycin selection cassette inserted by homologous recombination. Splicing of untargeted exons results in a frameshift mutation. Truncated transcript was detected by RT-PCR analysis of RNA obtained from homozygous mutant splenocytes. A premature stop codon was identified by sequence analyis of this transcript.
