Description
LoxP sites flanking exons 11-13 were introduced and a neomycin resistance gene was inserted downstream of exon 13 in the direction opposite of transcription. RT-PCR analysis of heterozygous and homozygous mutant animals showed reduced gene expression at approximately 55% and 20% that of wild-type, respectively. This is a hypomorphic allele.
