Description
A neomycin selection cassette replaced 2.6 kb of genomic DNA that contains exons 12 and 13 which encode amino acid residues 408-497 in the transmembrane domain. Immunoprecipitation and western blot analysis demonstrated that no detectable protein is produced from this allele in colonic mucosa.
