Description

A 9 kb segment of the regulatory region of the mouse Vil gene drives expression of cre recombinase. Only 1 copy of the transgene integrated in this line. Uniform cre expression is seen in epithelial cells all along the crypt-villus axis and in undifferentiated progenitor cells in the crypt region.
