Description
A targeting vector was designed to insert a cassette containing EGFP-pA-loxP-puro-loxP into exon 1, thereby deleting the 122 amino acids encoding the basic helix-loop-helix domain. Additionally, the two ATG codons were mutated to GTG. The EGFP contains a Val164Ala mutation in pEGFP-C1.
