Description
A loxP site was inserted into intron 13 and a loxP flanked PGK-Hprt cassette into intron 14. Crossing with transgenic mice expressing Cre in the germline excised exon 14 and the Hprt cassette. RT-PCR indicated the lack of transcript in colon samples from mutants.
