The murine adipocyte Acsl1 cDNA containing a Myc tag is under the control of an alpha-mysoin heavy chain promoter construct that contains the last exon of the beta-myosin heavy chain gene, the alpha-myosin heavy chain promoter, and the first three untranslated exons of the alpha-myosin heavy chain gene. See an 11-fold increase in Acsl1 protein specifically in the heart.
