Description

Exon 2 and part of exon 3 were replaced by a neomycin resistance gene. The translation initiation signal and sequence encoding the first 130 amino acids are deleted. The last 713 bp of exon 3 are retained. No mRNA is detected in homozygotes and RT-PCR failed to detect any aberrant transcripts.
