Description
The env gene from the LAV strtain of HIV-1 was truncated to encode gp120 amino acids 1-509 and inserted in exon 1 of a modified murine Gfap gene. Five lines (2, 3,10, 16, 37) were established which varied in level of expression. Level of expression did not correlate with transgene copy number. This is a low expressor line.
