Description
The splice donor site at the 3' end of exon 3 was inactivated by site directed mutagenesis. A floxed PGKneo selection cassette was then inserted at position 49 of intron 3. Cre expression was used to remove the floxed neo cassette permitting the expression of the DM-20 isoform but not the full length product.
