Description

Insertion of loxP sites, one into the Acc65I site located 15 bp upstream of the ATG in the first exon, and the other into the PstI site located in the first intron. Cre-mediated recombination removed exon 1. RT-PCR confirmed the absent of transcripts containing exon 1 in the testes and thymus.
