Description
A loxP site and FRT flanked neo cassette were inserted upstream of exon 4 and a loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 6 via homologous recombination. Recombinase mediated recombination removed the neo cassette and exons 4 - 6. Immunoblot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in MEFs from homozygous mice.
