Description
A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 1 and an FRT flanked neo cassette and loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 1. Cre mediated recombination removed the exon 1 and the neo cassette. RT-PCR confirmed loss of exon 1 containing transcripts in hearts of postnatal day 21 homozygous mice.
