Description
A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4. A floxed hygromycin resistance cassette was inserted downstream of exon 6. Cre-mediated recombination removed exons 4 through 6 and the selection cassette. Western blot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in the adrenal and white adipose tissue (periadrenal and gonadal).
