Description
The targeting construct inserted an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site upstream of exon 3 and a second loxP site downstream of exon 4. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed exons 3 and 4.
