Description
A loxP site was inserted into intron 3 and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene and a second loxP site into the 3' UTR in exon 4. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombination and exon 4 was deleted through cre-mediated recombination. RT-qPCR confirmed the lack of transcription from this allele.
