FB Description
Protein kinase N (Pkn) encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase activated by Rho family GTPases, especially those encoded by Rho1 and Rac1. When activated, the product of Pkn regulates the actin cytoskeleton during oogenesis, wound repair, and in morphogenetic events including dorsal closure and wing development.
