MGI Description
PHENOTYPE: Mice homozygous for a targeted null mutation appear normal. However, [3-H] thymidine incorporation into isolated pancreatic islets was reduced and GTG-induced islet hyperplasia was attenuated, suggesting a role for this gene in islet cell growth or regeneration.
