Description
A neomycin selection cassette replaced a genomic fragment containing the splice donor site of exon 2 and exons 3-5. RT-PCR analysis on liver RNA from heterozygous mice demonstrated that an aberrant, smaller transcript was made from this allele, but no functional protein is predicted to be made.
