Description
Insertion of a PGK-neomycin resistance cassette introduced two loxP sites flanking exon 3 and the inserted cassette. Exon 3 contains phosphorylation target serine/threonine residues. Future deletion of exon 3 with cre recombinase would result in mRNA whose exons 2 and 4 are connected in frame.
