Description

A gene-trap vector inserted into the fifth predicted intron of the gene. This mutation disrupts the mRNA at sequences encoding a region immediately downstream of the N-terminal KIND domain. The absence of full-length encoded protein expression in homozygous mutant mice was confirmed by immunoblotting.
