Description

Transgenesis was performed using a BAC, RP24-372O16, that includes the complete mouse gene. One line was selected for further analysis that expresses ~2-fold (2.3+/-0.4) the level of Pten mRNA relative to their control littermates across all examined tissues, including brain, heart, liver, lung, kidney, skin, muscle, brown adipose tissue (BAT), and white adipose tissue (WAT), as well as in mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs).
