The full-length murine Arl3 with the Q71L dominant active mutation is under the control of a 4.4-kb rhodopsin promoter. A tandem C-terminally hemagglutinin (HA) and FLAG fusion tags were added. The rhodopsin promoter drives the expression of the gene as early as postnatal day 4 in rod photoreceptor cells of the retina. Immunoblotting indicates 2.5-fold overexpression of the mutant over endogenous levels. The pound symbol (#) is used when line is not specified and/or lines are pooled.
